4. Product packing & Loading:
In order to maintain the service life of the sandwich panel, the product must not be damaged during packaging, shipping, unloading, storage and transportation. During the production process, the metal surface is protected from scratches by the polyethylene film. However, additional precautions should be taken when packaging the product. The packaging of the sandwich panel product varies depending on the type of product, the type and thickness of the insulation core, and the type of vehicle selected for transportation. The number of panels in the package is calculated based on the panel's distributed load calculations and the bearing limits of the equipment that lifts the panel.
The sandwich panel package is separated from each other by EPS (expanded polystyrene) pins. These pins provide a distance to prevent the panels from coming into hard contact with each other, and the forklift or crane belt of the forklift can easily enter between the packages without causing injury. EPS fasteners or airbags are also placed on the panel packaging from both sides to prevent friction and dumping on the road.
A crane or forklift can be used in the loader loading area. All side frames of the vehicle that arrives at the cargo must be able to be removed when loading sideways. In the load of the domestic market, the vehicle should be open and flat and bad. The side and back covers must be closed after filling. The vehicle must have 10 ratchet straps. Plastic or wooden brackets 15-20 cm wide can also be used to prevent ratchet straps from damaging the edges and joints of the panel. In addition to the standard packaging, wooden pallets can be placed underneath the bottom packaging to protect the crane or forklift from impact.
5. Product advantages & shortages:
Advandages:
1) Excellent fireproof performance: The raw material production process and formula adopted by rock wool sandwich panel make it have good fireproof performance. Tests have shown that it has a fire resistance of over 1000 °C. Rockwool sandwich panels have been approved by the relevant state departments.
2) Thermal insulation property is good: The thermal insulation performance of rock wool sandwich panel is based on the thermal conductivity of rock wool. After experiment, the thermal conductivity of rock wool is 0.043w/m2, and the corresponding proportion of rock wool core material is calculated by thickness;
3) The sound absorption and sound insulation effect is obvious: The rock wool sandwich panel has a significant reduction effect on noise transmission, and is especially suitable for the place where the designated flight passes.
Shortages:
Rockwool sandwich panels, due to the water-repellent nature of their own materials, cause the rock wool sandwich panels to break when they come into contact with water for installation, so they need to be covered in time after production, and the strength of the rock wool sandwich panels Not good enough, if you need strong strength, then you should strengthen the thickness of the steel plate to achieve the strength increase.
