1.Have you ever been through steel coils was rusty after shipment?
Yumi steel has one Guatemalan customer,we have worked together for 2 times.But there was quality problem happened.Because water ran into the containers,it caused oxidized rusty phenomenon.It was regularly oxidized and rusty.
For this claim,we dealt with it as following steps:
1)Asked customer to contact local insurance company and made inspection,to ask insurance company to make claims for customer;
2)We applied for paying part of manual repair costs to customer;
3)We promised best price for next order;
4)The most import thing we did is to improve our packing and container loading to avoid same problem happened.The protection way is as follows:
☆ One layer of Mildew paper and one layer of moisture-proof kraft paper to protect the steel coils.
☆ One 3.5cm thick kraft paper loops inside,and connected with mildew paper and of moisture-proof kraft paper to make sure the steel coils are well protected.
☆ Then again one layer of steel sheet on the surface and tighted with steel strips.
☆ When loading,we put mildewproof bags in the container.
5)Finally customer received steel coils in good status,and happy to see what we did for them.
2.What’s galvalume steel?
Galvalume steel is also called aluminum and zinc coated steel as substrate.It’s solidified by 55% aluminum,43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon at 600 ℃. Comparing with galvanized steel,the rust prevention performance is much more better.
